Lesson Learned

A lesson that I learned is not to climb to high in a tree. I was about 9 having fun just climbing a tree I had climbed before but on this day however my fun climbing trees ended. I had almost climbed to the top when the branch I had my left foot on broke. I was about ten feet off the ground when the branch broke. I began to fall faster and faster breaking of branches as I went finally about five feet from the ground I hit a branch that was about four inches in diameter. Hitting it back first I broke it which slowed down my decent enough to cause me to land on the ground back first on top of the branch in great pain. The pain was so great that I thought I had broken a few bones. Using the little mind power I had that was not focused on the pain I crawled all about thirty feet back to my house. Come to find out I broke no bones but I did have a couple cuts, scrapes, and bruises. Now I have a scare that reminds me of that hard lesson I learned.

Gossip Got Your Tongue?

1. If I 'triple filtered' everything I said I probably could not say anything bad about anyone unless I saw and heard the thing they did wrong with my own ears. My conversation would not be on what I heard from some one else. Only on what I knew was fact.
2. I think people choose to gossip because it makes them feel like they got something on some one who gossiped about them.

Story Spinners: Option 3

As I regained consciousness, I remember asking myself why is was so stubborn! But I can only blame myself for my own stupidity. When I was told by the Mafia to give up my car or else. Know I have to find my way out of this dark alley back to the street but on top of it all it has started to rain. I am at to the end of the alley.
I can see headlights coming toward the alley. I turn around and start to run back down the alley. When I see a door I burst through the door and find myself in a vestibule. I slam the door shut start to walk down the hall. I start to hear the door being kicked down. Now I Know the Mafia is back and they are going to finish me off I exit the vestibule.
Then I find myself in a ballroom full of wealthy men and women. Out of the corner of my eye I see four men with Thomson sub-machine guns. Coming from the vestibule into the ballroom. I dash for the door to the next room. I then realize I can not make it and hide behind a large marble pillar. I hear shooting from my hiding place and hear the four men yell "this is a hold up! Everyone up against the wall don't move and no one gets hurt." I think to myself what a lie everybody and I know you are going to shoot all of them.
From behind pillar I see a security guard jump out and begin to fire on the four Mafia men. One of the men is hit by the guard's bullets and fall to the ground. As he of them falls the others begin to fire on the guard as one of the guns slides across the floor and stops right beside me. I grab it I look around the pillar I was hiding behind. Only to find that the guard has been shoot in the arm from all of the automatic fire.
I jump from behind my pillar and begin to fire on the other three thugs. They all fall to the ground in pain from being shot in their shooting hand by my perfectly aimed shots. Just about the time I start to make sure everyone is ok and start to threat the guards wound several police officers burst through the door. After being called by a little old women who lived across the street who heard all the shots. The officers arrest the three thugs and take the guard to the hospital. They then begin to ask everyone questions trying to find out what happened. They all point their fingers at me and say if it were not for me all of them could have been killed and the guard would have been kill from his wound.
That night on the news the story of what happens comes out. The media and all the victims name me a hero. A week later I was visited by the guard and his family they thanked me for saving his life and for my bravery. Then I tell them if it wasn't for him I would have not been able to get that gun and save his along with everyone else's lives and that he and I were both the hero's of that crazy day.

Heaven

My heaven would look like the one I have always read about in the bible and sing about in songs. It is a wonderful place with mansions, streets paved with gold, in a bright land where no one will ever grow old, it is a place with hill top mansions, and with the God in his thrown with Jesus beside him and a host of angles all around is the only way I can describe my heaven. One of the best descriptions I find of my heaven come is in this verse for a song I sing in church "I got a mansion just over the hill tops in that bright land where we will never grow old and some day yander we will never more wonder about the streets that are of purest gold." That song and the bible are the only places where I can ever find the best descriptions of my heaven. It is hard for me not to think of heaven any other way it is described to me in the bible and song.

The Lovely Bones

I think Susie's father means that the penguin is trapped in a world with out any of the troubles in the world. Her father considers it perfect because of it is a world with out any troubles like sadness, hardship, and death. Susie feels like the penguin trapped in her perfect world a world she considers a little to perfect. Susie considers her world perfect but as she is their in her heaven she thinks it is a little to perfect. The kind of perfect you long for but when you get it after a while it becomes so perfect that you get sick of it and want to go back to the life that you had a before your life became perfect.
